LIGO recently published a white paper titled "An Analysis of the Benefits and Risks to LIGO When Participating in Identity Federations". This new document provides a useful companion to the Roadmap for Using NSF Cyberinfrastructure with InCommon. Together these documents can help research projects that are considering adoption of identity federation technologies.
